I miss Amanda’s old apartment in Seattle. It was this great little place overlooking the Fremont neighborhood.

If the psychology thing doesn’t work out for her, Amanda could always be a migrant farmer.

More things I’m missing/craving today: walking on the beach with that salty sea scent permeating the air.

For some reason I’m really in the mood to be in a field of grass today, possibly trying my hand at golfing again.

Amanda, back in 2007, only a month or so after we met. That look has stayed with her ever since - a byproduct of knowing me, I suppose.

Amanda and Chloe facing off - they used to do this all the time. Here it was when they were playing catch in the parking lot near our place in Seattle.

I think I’ll start off the day not with a post about politics or philosophy, but with a light-hearted Chloe-pic.
Woot!

Seeing pictures of the Grand Canyon and going through some old pictures for archival purposes, I’m definitely in the mood for a long road trip.
This picture was taking during the road trip we made from Washington to Missouri. Chloe was especially excited for the long car ride (though I think if she had known that it would one day end up with us in Arizona, she might have protested a bit. I probably would have as well.)

I was going through older pictures today (there are over 500 image I need to curate from 2008 and on) and I came across this one, of Chloe and Amanda playing in the yard at our old place in Seattle.
It was a small little house, but it certainly had charm, and Chloe loved attacking the bushes outside with Amanda.

After realizing that I had a picture of Nancy Grace on my tumblr wall, I realized I needed an intelligent and inspirational woman to balance out the crazy, and who better than Amanda. (Bonus, she lives with me… which is FAR preferable to even the IDEA of Nancy Grace being anywhere near me.)
